1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InboxPlease's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access the materials on InboxPlease's website for personal, non-commercial use. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on InboxPlease's website
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
  • Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. Usage Guidelines

Your use of InboxPlease services is subject to the following guidelines:

  • You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You may not use the service to transmit or distribute any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material.
  • You may not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service or breach any security or authentication measures.
  • You may not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers or networks connected to the service.

4. Account and Security

To access certain features of the service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

5. Privacy Policy

Your use of InboxPlease is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall InboxPlease or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on InboxPlease's website, even if InboxPlease or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

7. Termination

InboxPlease may terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

8. Changes to Terms

InboxPlease reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

10. Google User Data

Some features of InboxPlease may allow you to connect your Google account. If you choose to do so, we may request limited access to Google data (e.g., the ability to send emails through Gmail) via Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization system.

InboxPlease only accesses this data with your explicit consent and solely to provide user-initiated features such as sending messages from your Gmail account. We do not access, read, store, or share your Gmail inbox contents, and we never use Gmail data for analytics, advertising, or any purpose beyond what is explicitly required for the requested feature.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11. Microsoft User Data

Some features of InboxPlease may allow you to connect your Microsoft account. If you choose to do so, we may request limited access to Microsoft data (e.g., the ability to send emails through Outlook) via Microsoft's OAuth 2.0 authorization system.

InboxPlease only accesses this data with your explicit consent and solely to provide user-initiated features such as sending messages from your Outlook account. We do not access, read, store, or share your Outlook inbox contents, and we never use Microsoft data for analytics, advertising, or any purpose beyond what is explicitly required for the requested feature.

Our use and transfer of information received from Microsoft APIs will adhere to Microsoft's API Terms of Use and Privacy Policy requirements.

You may revoke our access at any time by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Microsoft account: Go to account.microsoft.com or account.live.com/content/manage and sign in with the account that the app is connected to.
  2. Navigate to Privacy Settings: Click on the Privacy tab at the top of the page.
  3. Find Apps and Services: Scroll down to the "Other privacy settings" section and select "Apps and services you've given access to".
  4. Locate the App: Review the list of apps that have access to your account.
  5. Revoke Permissions: Find the app (InboxPlease) you want to remove, click "Edit" under its name, and then select "Remove these permissions" or a similar option to disconnect the app.
